The most important part about being a nanny...
To me, the most important part of being a nanny is building a real connection with the kids—being someone they trust, feel safe with, and enjoy spending time around. While working at a daycare (Kidtown at Midtown), I gained valuable experience with children of all ages, but I often found it hard to truly bond with individual kids due to the fast-paced group setting. That’s what draws me to nannying—I’m excited about the opportunity to focus on one family and build deeper, more meaningful relationships.

I also have experience working with children with special needs through my time as a camp counselor at Camp SOAR, a summer camp specifically for kids with disabilities. It was an incredibly rewarding experience where I learned the importance of patience, empathy, and creating a supportive environment tailored to each child’s unique needs.
