More About Me

Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...

Besides my personal experience with my own siblings, I also have experience from internships back in 2018 at my local community center’s boys & girls club. My responsibilities included managing big groups of children from the age of 8-13 years old. It was during the summer so we did a lot of swimming, water games, outside art projects, and picnics.

Activities I enjoy doing with children...

I believe that sensory activities are very enjoyable for children of all age groups. Painting, musical activities, balance beams, trying new foods, sound tubes, etc.

The most important part about being a nanny...

The most important part about being a nanny is being a child’s SAFE SPACE. So many times children feel that they are overlooked, not taken seriously, or just not heard at all. Being the 3rd oldest in my family, I sometimes felt like I got the short end of the stick. If I would’ve had someone like myself in my corner to pick me up or wipe my tears every once and a while, I truly believe it would’ve saved me from a lot of emotional pain.

My experience with special needs children...

I have not yet been able to care for any children with special needs, though i am very open to learning how to care for them and make their lives as easy and as comfortable as possible.
