Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...
I have been around children my whole life. Recently I’ve been watching over my one year old sister. I also have experience looking after a special-needs kid from when he was born until now and he is currently the age of five. I also have experience watching multiple kids at once. I have babysat family friends children for hours at a time. I am most familiar with kids from age 0 to 6. As an 18-year-old I have been around kids of all ages so I am comfortable watching over any child of any age.
Activities I enjoy doing with children...
I enjoy doing anything indoor and outdoor with children. As I am someone with a working vehicle I am able to take kids to parks, water parks, anywhere fun the kids might want to go. I would love to just sit inside and play games with the kids, make crafts, watch TV, and read books. I am super outgoing and friendly so I am willing to do anything with a child that’s gonna make them happy.
The most important part about being a nanny...
The most important thing about being a nanny/babysitter would be making sure that all the child’s needs are met. I would say making sure the child is fed, bathed, i’m just making sure the child is all-around happy.
My experience with special needs children...
I have never actually had and official babysitting job for a special needs kid but I have five years of experience with one. I have watched over my family friends special needs son since he was born until now and he is five years old. I have fed him, bathed him, played with him, and put him to bed. I find at times it could be challenging but no challenge is too great for me. I take any experience as a learning experience.
The most important part about being a nanny...
I would say my favorite moment would be just spending time with the kids and making them laugh.
