More About Me
Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...
At 16, I began a steady summer job caring for three children (ages 4–11), which included date nights, daytime care, and multi-day overnights. I still work with that family on an as-needed basis.
At 18, I started working at a childcare center, where I stayed for three years. During that time, I also worked as a nanny for a family with two children (ages 4–8), both after school and for date nights. I was with them consistently for one summer and continue to support them occasionally.
At 20 , I nannied for a family with two children (ages 2–6), providing after-school care and date night support. I’ve been with them for two years.
I also worked a part-time position caring for an infant (now around 11 months old), for about 6 months.
This past school year i worked as an elementary paraprofessional for a kindergarten classroom. I am currently in between jobs and am considering going back to school for my masters.

Activities I enjoy doing with children...
I love it when kids take the lead in choosing activities. Offering options and prompts to spark their imagination often makes playtime more engaging and meaningful. I’m always happy to join in and encourage this kind of creativity. I also enjoy incorporating educational and developmental activities like reading, arts and crafts, or simple science experiments. Outdoor play is my favorite, whether we’re going for walks, visiting the park, or exploring nature. I believe movement and hands-on experiences are key to learning. I also value social interaction and enjoy outings to museums, libraries, or community events when appropriate. My goal is to create a fun, balanced environment where children feel safe to learn, explore, and grow.
My experience with special needs children...
I don't have any yet, but I would be willing to gain experience if that is something you are comfortable with. My degree also incorporated a lot of education on autism, learning disabilities, and interacting with children with a variety of needs.
