A little bit about me

My name is LeeAnn, but everyone calls me Elle. I have tried a few other jobs, but never enjoyed them as much as I love being a Nanny. I am going on my 8th
year as a Nanny, but I have been taking care of kids most of my life. I have younger siblings that I babysat and assisted in their care daily due to my mother’s health issues. I was also the resident babysitter for all our family, friends and volunteered in infant and toddler rooms at whichever church my family was attending at the time. I love engaging the little ones in play and reading stories and exploring outside.
Good communication is very important to me. I do best when parents let me know clearly what they expect. I even like having a list so I do not have to rely solely on memory or worry about a miscommunication. I want to feel equipped to make the transfer from Parents to Nanny and back again as smooth and easy on the little ones as possible.

A little bit about me

I have always worked with children since I could begin working at 15 years old. I worked in a daycare center with up to sixteen kids alone, a preschool, individual nannying, babysitting, general child care, with teens in a group home setting, and youth with varying spectrum diagnoses. I have experience with special needs, challenging youth, LGBTQ+, disabilities, and more. I have not nanny’d for a few years now due to gaining a degree at the UC Merced which I graduated in 2020 with my bachelors. From there I went to work with kids in the group homes, then moved to WA from CA recently. I have worked with all types of kids in all age groups, 0-18 years old. My availability is wide open. Feel free to reach out with any questions!
