A little bit about me
I graduated from Teachers College in 2010 with a degree in Curriculum and Teaching for children birth - 2nd grade, in both general education and special education. I have assisted baby sign language classes, taught enrichment classes for 2-4 year olds, taught PreK full-time, and have been a nanny for children between 6 months to 9 years old.
I adore children and find it easy to connect with them. I’m skilled at handling separation anxiety, behavioral challenges, sibling/peer conflicts, and keeping things fun. I love to be outside, sing, dance, read books, and talk about animals, nature, and the way the world works!
I enjoy helping kids experiment, take (reasonable) risks, explore their curiosities, and develop a strong, positive self of self and empathy for others.
