A little bit about me
Hello, My name is Dominique, and I am a director certified early childhood professional! I have just recently launched my own Travel Nanny services and am looking to support families from all over the country and even internationally. I began my career as an infant teacher when I was 21 years old, but began working with children professionally at the age of 15 teaching three year olds how to swim! Since beginning my journey, I have worked with various age groups ranging from infant to pre-k. I worked in educational leadership for Bright Horizons, and built a childcare center for a church in six months! I’m very proud of my journey! Here I am now, on my next adventure! Building my travel business to support families while they are on the move!

A little bit about me
Hello, I'm Bri! I have 6 years of experience working as a nanny. During that time, I have cared for multiple families with 1 or more children aged 6 months-12 years old. I currently specialize in infant and toddler care and have so for the past four years!
I believe in fostering a nurturing, yet stimulating environment for children to explore and learn about the world as well as themselves. I follow a child-led approach where children get to be active participants within their environment under the safety and supervision of an adult.
My services include light housekeeping, meal prep, and assistance with personal errands. I have a valid passport and am willing to travel with families in and outside of the U. S. I am vaccinated and am able to provide references, letters of recommendation, and resume upon request.

How to Hire a Traveling Nanny in Chicago, IL
Nanny Lane helps you find a traveling nanny in Chicago, IL who can join your family on trips.
We offer nanny services including background checks, Agency, and nanny payroll. Start by posting a profile with a job description, and soon you can start connecting with nannies who fit your family.
What Is a Traveling Nanny?
A traveling nanny, also called a travel nanny, goes on trips with your family to care for the children, whether it is a vacation, a business trip, or an extended stay. Some families need a nanny who travels regularly, and others only for the occasional trip.
Common Responsibilities of Traveling Nannies in Chicago, IL
On the road, a traveling nanny keeps the children's routines going, supervises play and meals, and helps with logistics such as airports, car rides, and hotel rooms. They may care for the children while parents work or attend events, and often work longer or less predictable days than at home.
What to Consider Before You Hire
Discuss how often you travel and for how long, who pays for the nanny's flights, accommodation, and meals, how hours and days off work on a trip, and whether the nanny needs a passport. Put the terms in a written agreement so there are no surprises. Nannies with a valid passport and a flexible schedule are the best fit for frequent travel.
Traveling Nanny Interview Questions
Once you find a promising candidate, invite them for an interview to see if they would be a great fit for your family. Here are some questions you can ask:
- Are you comfortable traveling, including internationally, and do you have a valid passport?
- How much notice do you need for a trip?
- Have you cared for children while traveling before?
- How would you keep routines going in a hotel or an unfamiliar place?
- How do you handle hours, days off, and expenses on the road?
At this stage, request their references and ask their references some questions. After preparing the job offer or contract, we recommend that you run a background check before the start date.
