As mentioned in my profile I was a stay at home mom of three children. They are now in college and on their own for the most part. The last ten years or so I have worked in the public and private school setting as a paraprofessional in elementary classrooms. I really enjoy watching children learn about the world around them. I hope you are seeking a care giver whom seeks to help children grow and learn while having fun. Seeing the world through kids eyes is amazing.

Activities I enjoy doing with children...

I believe a child can learn from their environment and experiences. Whether it is enjoying quiet time with a book, playing at the park, play dates with peers or helping adults around the house. Children are sponges and take in everything. I am a very active adult and have no problem keeping up with little ones.

The most important part about being a nanny...

As your nanny I see myself as an extension of you. I will follow your wishes, your rules all while making sure you don't feel left out of your child's development. I will always provide you feedback, pictures or whatever you wish so you feel part of your child's day.

My experience with special needs children...

I have an adult son with special needs whom I am tremendously proud of. He is mostly independent due to my dedication in helping him achieve his goals. I am also certified educational advocate with a passion for supporting parents within the educational setting. I represent students whom are in foster care with the state of Illinois so I have also been finger printed and back ground checked with the Illinois State Board of Education.
