A little bit about me

I'm Sarah and I am a clinical psychology doctoral student at SUU where my research has focused on postpartum depression. I am nearing the end of my program and will be moving to Arizona in July to complete a clinical internship. In the meantime, I am hoping to find a childcare job from May-August. I have 10+ years of child care experience and and two years of experience as a middle school teacher. Thanks to my educational background, I have a strong understanding of child development and best practices in behavior management. I am dedicated to creating a safe, nurturing, and resource-rich environment in which infants and children can flourish. As such, I am CPR and first aid certified for infants, children, and adults, utilize responsive and compassionate caregiving practices, and plan developmentally-appropriate activities for the kiddos I work with. Given my experiences and expertise, I would especially love to provide childcare support for parents navigating the postpartum period.
