A little bit about me

Hello! I moved to Cedar Rapids to attend Kirkwood. I am currently studying Radiology Technology and am enrolled in 2 classes this upcoming semester, since I am ahead of my program. I previously worked at Scooter’s Coffee when I first moved here, but had to resign as I was not getting the hours I needed. Before moving to Iowa, I was a Summer Camp Counselor at YMCA Camp Merrill Benson. I worked there during the summers of 2018 and 2019. During the off season from counseling, I was a lifeguard at my local YMCA. I am still CPR certified, Lifeguard certified, First-aid certified, and Blood-Bourne Pathogens certified. My job at YMCA Camp Merrill Benson consisted of me staying at camp from early May to mid August each summer. Each week a new group of about 200-300 campers stayed for the week, ranging in ages 5-16. I really miss working with kids and all of the wonderful life lessons they taught me. I believe my past experiences as a counselor will make me a stellar nanny.
