A little bit about me
I have a large family with an array of children ages ranging from newborn to 12 years old that has provided me with plenty of experience and knowledge growing up. I have spent the last few years as a nanny for a few different families ages 10 months to 10+ years old!
I left my job in May as a preschool teacher (total 7 months) and absolutely loved it, but after some consideration I have realized I prefer being able to give all that I have to offer to individual children and families instead.
CPR + first aid certified with my last training held in March.
I have a love of kids and childhood development as a whole.
I would consider myself a kid at heart! I am very active and hands on. I encourage independence and imagination in little ones and I am thrilled to again have the opportunity to provide amazing child care!
Thank you for taking the time to read about me (:

A little bit about me
Besides listed experience I cared part time for my grandson for two years when he was turning two. When they moved to Kansas City I moved to Central Oregon nearer to my other children and shifted from a career in hospitality to being employed full time nannying. It has afforded me the most joyful experiences.
I had to quit my previous nanny job in Bend (see references 😊) to help a family member in another location. I am back in Bend and am seeking a new nanny position.
I was previously registered with the Oregon Department Of Education’s Central Background Registry which has since expired but it means I’ve been background checked and fingerprinted. I can provide that documentation along with references.

How to Hire a Housekeeper Nanny in Oregon
On Nanny Lane, you can find a housekeeping nanny in Oregon. Our nanny services include background checks, a hiring agent, and nanny payroll. Start by posting a profile with a job description and then, you can start talking to candidates about your housekeeping nanny position.
Common Responsibilities of Housekeeper Nannies in Oregon
When evaluating if a housekeeping nanny is right for your family, it’s important to consider what makes housekeeping nannies distinct from nannies. Both a housekeeping nanny and a nanny are responsible for creating a safe and stimulating environment. These responsibilities can include organizing activities, preparing meals, handling child-related errands as well as others. However, a housekeeping nanny usually takes on cleaning and maintenance for the entire home and family. In contrast, a nanny focuses exclusively on cleaning for the children such as the playroom, children's laundry, etc. A housekeeping nanny offers these services to the entire home and family, including laundry, cleaning bathrooms, mopping, and vacuuming.
A housekeeping nanny can be a full-time, part-time, or live-in position. It is essential to take these factors into account when determining how much you should pay a housekeeping nanny.
Oregon Contracts for Housekeeper Nannies
A contract provides an excellent opportunity to ensure that everyone is on the same page. By writing out a job offer for your housekeeping nanny position, you’ll create clear expectations for both your family and the housekeeping nanny.
In your housekeeping nanny job offer, you should communicate the responsibilities and compensation. This should be a detailed list focusing on all their responsibilities. We recommend running a background check on the candidates for your housekeeping nanny position at this point. You should provide a job offer that is dependent upon the results of the background check.
When you present your job offer create a safe place for your housekeeping nanny to ask any questions. Once the details are finalized, you can create a contract for your housekeeping nanny. Through the process of creating and discussing the job offer and contract, you’re building the foundation for a good relationship with your nanny where you both can ask questions and hold each other accountable.
