A little bit about us
Cali is a happy, smiley baby who loves being talked to, cuddled, and included in everything going on around her. We’re looking for someone who genuinely loves babies and will engage with her, play with her, support her development, and love on her while giving us a little time to ourselves.
More than anything, we’re looking for our person someone we trust completely with Cali who eventually feels like part of our village.
We’re looking for approximately 20–30 hours/week with some flexibility. Sample schedule: Monday & Wednesday 9am–3pm, Thursday 5–10pm, plus every other Friday or Saturday. Occasional date nights/weekends would be wonderful!
We love boating, camping, traveling, dinners out, and spending time outdoors, so we’d LOVE someone open to occasionally joining us for adventures or traveling with our family. 🚐⚓️✨
Responsibilities are primarily Cali-focused: feeding, bottles, naps, diapering, playtime, age-appropriate activities, walks/outings, baby laundry, and keeping her things organized. Light tidying while she sleeps is appreciated.
We’d love someone who:
• Has infant experience & great references
• Is nurturing, patient, reliable & engaging
• Is CPR/First Aid certified or willing to be
• Is comfortable with occasional evenings, weekends & travel
• Wants a long-term position
• Bonus: Spanish/English bilingual 💕
• Bonus: Early childhood education/development experience
We want this to be a great fit for both sides and hope to find someone who will truly become part of our family as Cali grows.
If you’re looking for a sweet little sidekick and a family to become part of, we’d love to hear from you! 🤍 Lastly, we’re happy to pay competitively for the right experience. If you’re requesting a top-of-range rate, we do expect your experience and qualifications to reflect that.

How to Find an Infant Care Job in Dawsonville, GA
If you’re looking for an infant nanny job, you’ve come to the right place! We can help you find an infant care job in your area. Start by telling families about yourself in your profile, and then chat with families to find the right fit. When you think you’ve found the right match, you can turn the discussion towards compensation and responsibilities.
What is an Infant Nanny in Dawsonville, GA
An infant nanny is a nanny that specializes in caring for newborns. They are skilled in diapering and providing care for any rashes, swaddling, bathing, feeding, and burping. Some infant nannies further specialize in care for premature newborns or multiples.
Preparing for a Nanny Interview for an Infant Care Position
Once you start connecting with prospective employers, the next step is an infant nanny job interview. Here is a list of some infant nanny interview questions to prepare for:
- What is your specific experience with this age group?
- Are you Infant CPR/First Aid certified in Dawsonville, GA? Are you willing to be trained?
- How do you handle a crying baby?
- How often do you usually offer parents updates during the day?
- What do you feed an infant? At 0-3 months? 3-6 months? 6-9 months? 9-12 months?
- How do you set up the infant’s crib for a nap?
- What kind of activities will you plan to engage my baby?
You should be prepared with your references for past nanny jobs, and ideally, past infant jobs. Prior to the infant nanny interview, be sure to think about questions that you might have for the family. This is a great time to ask questions about the responsibilities and compensation for the infant nanny position. To make sure everyone has a shared understanding of the role and responsibilities, we recommend asking for a job offer or a nanny contract. By doing this, you can get off on the right foot with your future employer.
