A little bit about me
Good Afternoon, I just ended my freshman year at Ohio University.
I am currently working on a degree in nursing. I have nannied full time for families for over three years. I babysit often for several families. I also have two younger sisters that I help out with when I am home. I am very comfortable around children and enjoy making their summer time more enjoyable. I love to take adventures with young children just as much as I enjoy doing a puzzle on a rainy day. I consider myself a low maintenance individual and can just go with the flow. I look forward to hearing from families, so we can make this summer a little bit easier and super fun for all.

A little bit about me
Hi there! My name is Lexi and I am a graduate student working towards becoming a pediatric speech-language pathologist. I have a ton of experience with children ranging from 2-16 years old. I have a passion for children with special needs - I was a caregiver for a boy with autism during my gap year which I absolutely loved! I have nannied since I was 16 years, worked at an after-school program, summer camp for children with developmental disabilities, and I currently work at a speech clinic seeing all types of children. I would consider myself patient, caring, and responsible. I love to do anything outside or art-related :) I am looking for something part-time this summer. I would love to help your family out with watching your children this summer or for date nights - feel free to message me!

How to Hire a Summer Nanny in Upper Arlington, OH
Nanny Lane helps you find a summer nanny in Upper Arlington, OH to take care of your children while school is out.
We offer nanny services including background checks, Agency, and nanny payroll. Start by posting a profile with a job description, and soon you can start connecting with nannies who fit your family.
What Is a Summer Nanny?
A summer nanny is a nanny who works during the school break, for the full summer or for part of it. Summer nannies are often teachers, college students, or experienced nannies who prefer seasonal work, so families can find help when school-age children are home during the day.
Common Responsibilities of Summer Nannies in Upper Arlington, OH
Summer days are less structured than the school year. A summer nanny plans activities such as park visits, swimming, crafts, and day trips, prepares meals and snacks, and may take children to camps or classes. For younger children, they keep up the usual nap and mealtime routines.
What to Consider Before You Hire
Start your search early, since good summer nannies are booked quickly. Decide your start and end dates, your weekly hours, and whether you need flexibility around camps, vacations, or travel. Be clear about transportation, and about whether you need the nanny to drive. If your dates might change, say so up front.
Summer Nanny Interview Questions
Once you find a promising candidate, invite them for an interview to see if they would be a great fit for your family. Here are some questions you can ask:
- Which dates are you available this summer?
- Are you able to adjust if our dates or hours change?
- What activities would you plan for the children during the day?
- Are you comfortable driving, including to camps and activities?
- Do you have experience with children of our children's ages?
At this stage, request their references and ask their references some questions. After preparing the job offer or contract, we recommend that you run a background check before the start date.
