A little bit about me
I started babysitting at 14 for two sisters, ages 2 and 4, and continued caring for them until they were 18.
I also have two years of experience as a teacher's assistant at Faith Lutheran Elementary School, working with kindergarten through fifth grade. I also worked for a private nonprofit organization helping children with learning disabilities develop social skills.
Both of my parents were teachers for over 35 years, so education has always been a big part of my life. I enjoy finding fun activities that keep kids busy while also helping them learn.
I also have a nonverbal autistic niece who has taught me a lot about patience and understanding.
After working in administrative roles for a few years, I'm looking to get back into childcare because it's something I've always loved doing.
I'm happy to provide references and complete a background check. I look forward to finding a family that's a good fit!
