The most important part about being a nanny is forming a connection/bond with the child(ren) you’re caring for. Upkeep of house etc. is an important part of the job also but priority should always be the wellbeing of the children and making sure they feel seen, heard, and cared for by you.

The most important part about being a nanny...

One of my most favorite nanny moments is when a little boy I was nannying said my name for the first time. He would say it, and then giggle, say it, and then giggle. It was the cutest thing! I could tell he’s been wanting to say my name and once he was finally able
to say it he was so happy he just kept saying it and laughing. It was such a sweet moment, and one I will never forget.
