Outdoor activities - Nature hikes, rain walks, playground, gardening, sports games, water table, pool, sprinkler, bubbles and chalk. Indoor activities - painting, drawling, coloring, art projects, Legos, color matching games, fine motor skill games, reading books, dance party, yoga, building, car wash. These are just a few of the ways we play.
The most important part about being a nanny...
I get to make lasting bonds with my little ones and their families. Through exploration and learning we grow and become better humans together. I feel very fortunate to be an early guide in the kids lives to help them learn who they are as well explore this magical world.
My experience with special needs children...
I have some family with special needs. It inspires me to see just how joyful and loving they are towards everyone they meet. I don't have experience caring for children with special needs but I am open to learning and would consider a position with a family who had a special needs child.
The most important part about being a nanny...
Potty training is always so rewarding to me. Watching the kids learn, try and succeed is so exciting. I will never forgot the looks on their littles faces when they finally go potty on their own. They are so proud of themselves and I can just see their confidence grow. I usually get big hugs and many thanks. Sometimes I even get hugs from the kids too. 😁
