Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...
I have babysat a 2 year old, 4 year old boy, and an 8 year old with down syndrome for around 2 years, and I have planned many VBS's as well as I currently babysitting a 10 and 6 year old! I helped teach at the selle valley cardin school last summer for a children's camp as well.
Activities I enjoy doing with children...
I love to bring or do fun crafts like homemade play dough, or building snowforts(I make the best) lol I also looove to cook great food and worked at Flavors of Phoenicia last summer! I love being outside and I'm not afraid of getting dirty, basically I'm still a kid at heart so whatever the kids want to do, I'm down!
The most important part about being a nanny...
I think the most important part of being a nanny or baby sitter, is to make sure that the children are safe and are respecting the parents wishes, but ultimately, just to make the kids have fun! No one gets to be a kid forever!
My experience with special needs children...
I babysat a very sweet young man around 8 years old who had downsyndrom, he was challenging sometimes, but being able to watch him learn and grow each day made it worth it!
The most important part about being a nanny...
My favorite nanny moment was probably when two kids i was baby sitting started putting on acts for me and I was guessing what it was that they were performing, I don't think I'd ever laughed so hard in my life!
