Hi, I'm Ellie! I've loved kids for as long as I can remember — I started babysitting and nannying at 12 and have never really stopped, with childcare experience that spans daycare work, supporting youth in care settings, and, of course, plenty of hands-on babysitting along the way. I studied Child, Adult and Family Services at Iowa State University, so I combine real knowledge of early childhood development with genuine hands-on experience. Growing up with 60 first cousins (yes, really) and adoring my own niece, I've spent my whole life around kids of all ages — it's just part of who I am. I'm responsible, outgoing, and dedicated, and families can count on me to show up, stay engaged, and make every day feel safe and fun. I also love animals, so pets are always a welcome bonus! Being a nanny is about earning a family's trust and then honoring it every single day-keeping their children safe while genuinely showing up for them, not just supervising. Building a real connection so the child feels seen and cared for, staying open and honest with parents so we're always on the same page, and bringing patience and consistency even on the hard days. At the end of it all, a good nanny isn't just reliable but someone the whole family feels lucky to have.

I have some experience in SPED. I worked in the neurodevelopment unit at ellipsis (youth treatment center) and was a big sister for Big Brother and Big Sisters organization. I do not have any certifications or specific learning.
