The most important part about being a nanny...
For me, the most important part of being a nanny is building a strong, trusting partnership with both the children and their parents. I believe in nurturing each child’s unique personality while providing the structure they need to feel confident. Being a nanny isn't just a job; it's about becoming a positive, reliable influence in a child's life during their most formative years.
My experience with special needs children...
I have significant experience caring for non-verbal children with Level 3 Autism. My approach is centered on patience and structured routines. I focus on creating sensory-friendly activities and using clear, supportive communication to ensure the child feels understood, valued, and safe every day. I am comfortable adapting to specific therapeutic goals or specialized care plans.
The most important part about being a nanny...
My favorite nanny moment is that magical second when a child finally masters a new skill they’ve been practicing—whether it’s tying their shoes, recognizing a new word, or completing a puzzle. I love the pure joy and confidence that lights up their face. Of course, I also cherish the simple times: when laughter fills the room during a silly game we made up together, or the quiet, sweet moments of reading a book before a nap. Seeing a child feel happy, confident, and truly at home in my care is the best reward I could ask for.
