More About Me

Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...

In high school, I took care of my neighbor’s two children when they were younger, and one of them had autism. That was actually my very first time and experience taking care of children. It taught me a lot about patience, compassion, and understanding children’s different needs. From that moment, I realized how much I enjoy caring for and supporting kids, which led me to continue working with them and eventually become an assistant teacher.

Activities I enjoy doing with children...

The activities I enjoy doing with children include arts and crafts, where they can express their creativity and imagination. I love reading books to them and even creating simple storybooks that make their imaginations come alive. I also enjoy doing fun fitness activities like dancing to music or practicing stretches together, it’s a great way to keep them active and happy. Most of all, I love teaching children new things, even the simple ones, and seeing the excitement on their faces as they learn and grow.

The most important part about being a nanny...

I believe the most important part of being one is being loving and nurturing. When a child feels genuine care, they feel safe, comfortable, and reassured in your presence. Creating that sense of trust and warmth helps build a strong bond and allows the child to grow and learn with confidence.

My experience with special needs children...

My experience with special needs children began in high school, when I cared for one of my neighbor’s children who had autism during the summer. Although it was a small experience, it had a big impact on me. It taught me patience, understanding, and the importance of giving each child the care and attention they need. That experience was what first inspired my passion for working with children and encouraged me to continue pursuing a career in childcare.

The most important part about being a nanny...

I truly value the idea of building a strong one-on-one bond with a child, where I can give them my full attention, care, and support. I believe that kind of connection allows me to better understand their needs, help them grow, and create a positive and nurturing environment where they feel safe and loved.
