Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...
I home educated all of my own children. They all went on to college and hold good jobs. I did in home childcare in my own home for many families on and off over the years. I worked on things such as manners, potty training, character training, and art projects, ABC’s, lots of reading, teaching reading. I included them into the homeschool day with my own children. My husband and I taught parenting classes for couples in our home, through our church. I worked in the church nursery for church services and ladies’ bible study groups. I am a born again Christian with a biblical mindset and biblical core values. Character training is my heartbeat and I strongly believe that it is lacking in today’s society. Children need boundaries and flourish extensively with them. I teach first time obedience which is a beautiful thing when parents see their children coming up to a high standard.

I enjoy doing theme related projects. For instance, making dough ornaments for Christmas, glittering pine cones to look frosty and snowy. Love reading to children in an animated way. Acting out the characters.

Secretly dressing all three of the children I watched in their Christmas clothes, taking many many pictures of them together and separately , then washing all the outfits, getting them back in the closets and drawers exactly as they were without mom noticing. Getting the pictures printed and framed as a Christmas gift. Having pop up parties for no real reason..anything can become a party with imagination!
