I enjoy taking the children to the park, library, and museums. If the weather calls for it I also believe play groups, zoo trips and other outdoor activities are excellent ways to engage the children. I also adore reading, helping them express themselves through creative play, and work on new skills through imaginative play and engaging activities/toys.

I have experience with caring for children with developmental delays and autism. I used techniques I've learned to help reach needed goals, mitigate tantrums/meltdowns, and help the child flourish to their full potential.
The most important part about being a nanny...
My favorite moment is when the child I was caring for learned how to make a growling noise (similar to rolling your R's in the back of your throat) while we were waiting for a train. I laughed when he first discovered it and he kept doing it in order to make me laugh.
