I am a career nanny with over 10 years of experience caring for children of all ages, from infants to school-aged. Alongside nannying, I’ve worked in summer camps and preschool/TK classrooms, giving me a wide range of experience in both home and educational settings. I recently earned my bachelor’s degree in Liberal Studies with a minor in Early Childhood Education and am finalizing my teaching credential. More About Me

Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...

I have worked as a nanny for multiple families over the years, supporting children from newborn through elementary school. In addition, I spent several summers working in camp programs where I supervised and engaged groups of children in daily activities. Most recently, I’ve worked for three years in a Transitional Kindergarten classroom, where I supported early learning, routines, and social-emotional development.

Activities I enjoy doing with children...

I love creating activities that mix fun and learning—arts and crafts, storytime, sensory play, and outdoor adventures like going to the park or nature walks. I also enjoy bringing music and movement into play, whether it’s dancing, singing, or using simple instruments. Reading books together and encouraging imaginative play are some of my favorite ways to help children grow and express themselves.

The most important part about being a nanny...

For me, the most important part of being a nanny is building a trusting relationship with both the child and the family. Children thrive when they feel safe, loved, and encouraged, and I believe consistency and genuine connection are key. My role is not only to care for children but to support their growth, confidence, and joy each day.

My experience with special needs children...

I have supported children with IEPs and developmental differences both as a nanny and in the classroom setting. I understand the importance of patience, consistency, and meeting children where they are. I also focus on celebrating strengths and helping each child feel successful in their own way.

The most important part about being a nanny...

One of my favorite moments was helping a toddler I cared for learn to say their first full sentence. We had been reading and practicing words together daily, and one morning she surprised both her parents and me by stringing the words together perfectly. It was such a rewarding reminder of how impactful those little moments of connection and encouragement can be.
