A little bit about me
Hi! My name is Verity, and I have about 5 years of experience nannying for families with children of various ages. I'm looking for a Summer position as soon as possible! I currently care for two families, one on the weekends with a boy and girl ages 4 and 7 and the other during the week with boys ages 8 and 10 (from 3-6:30). However, I've worked with families with children, both boys and girls of various ages, from 3 to 16. I've also done overnight sitting multiple times for families that have requested it, so if you need a date night out with your significant other, I'm just a phone call/text away! I can help with general child care, light housekeeping, meal prep, transportation, and even personal assistant/house manager help. I have plenty of references for you to contact, so don't be afraid to ask! I hope to hear from you soon and be a helping hand to you and your family!

A little bit about me
Hello, my name is Araceli. I am 20 years old. I don't have any kids of my own however I love kids. In high school, I was a student-teacher which helped me learn a lot of the necessary essentials to care for children. I have a big family with over twenty kiddos, so I'm aware of the responsibilities that come with taking care of kids. I am a college student who is looking for a summer job that ties in with my major, which is teaching. I'm thrilled to work with kids at all times.

A little bit about me
Hello! I have several years of child care experience, and have worked with Primrose schools which was a blast! I’m an english major at UNT and working on completing my Bachelors of art degree and certificate degree in video game development. I also have several years of pet experience under my belt, and love furry friends!
I love exploring and going on nature hikes, and would love to get the kiddos away from technology too experience the real world. My goal is to give your child (or children) a summer of memories and not let them sit inside all summer break without making any core memories.

Nanny Precious
"Precious was innovative and hard working and taught my children how to walk and behave with more structure. When she puts her mind to something she does it and gets the job done. I love having Precious around my children and would recommend her to anybody!!""
- Ted
Nanny Amani
"Amani has always been great and reliable with my kids, aged 5, 10, 13. She is hands on and communicates well. My kids never had an issue and adore her yet I feel she keeps them behaved and structured, especially the little one. I would and still use her when I need a sitter. Highly recommend."
- Paul
Nanny Hannah
"Hannah, was with us for awhile. And let me tell you this. She never hesitated to look after our little girl. Money was really hard whenever I lost my job, but she was really understanding and worked with us. I would definitely recommend her to look after your babies!"

How to Hire a Summer Nanny in Denton, TX
Nanny Lane helps you find a summer nanny in Denton, TX to take care of your children while school is out.
We offer nanny services including background checks, Agency, and nanny payroll. Start by posting a profile with a job description, and soon you can start connecting with nannies who fit your family.
What Is a Summer Nanny?
A summer nanny is a nanny who works during the school break, for the full summer or for part of it. Summer nannies are often teachers, college students, or experienced nannies who prefer seasonal work, so families can find help when school-age children are home during the day.
Common Responsibilities of Summer Nannies in Denton, TX
Summer days are less structured than the school year. A summer nanny plans activities such as park visits, swimming, crafts, and day trips, prepares meals and snacks, and may take children to camps or classes. For younger children, they keep up the usual nap and mealtime routines.
What to Consider Before You Hire
Start your search early, since good summer nannies are booked quickly. Decide your start and end dates, your weekly hours, and whether you need flexibility around camps, vacations, or travel. Be clear about transportation, and about whether you need the nanny to drive. If your dates might change, say so up front.
Summer Nanny Interview Questions
Once you find a promising candidate, invite them for an interview to see if they would be a great fit for your family. Here are some questions you can ask:
- Which dates are you available this summer?
- Are you able to adjust if our dates or hours change?
- What activities would you plan for the children during the day?
- Are you comfortable driving, including to camps and activities?
- Do you have experience with children of our children's ages?
At this stage, request their references and ask their references some questions. After preparing the job offer or contract, we recommend that you run a background check before the start date.
