A little bit about me
I worked for a company full time for three years in Seattle Washington while attending college up there called College Nannie’s and tutors providing back up care for many families, after graduating school I moved down to Los Angeles to pursue my masters in social work at USC and transferred down to the LA office for my job and continued to provide full time child care for families all through the greater LA area.
I am energetic and love to provide mental stimulation for all the kids I nanny for with arts and crafts, cooking, outside activities. I also love to work closely with the families to make sure everyone’s needs are met and held to a high standard.

A little bit about me
I am currently looking for a new family to help. I have to sadly say goodbye to my current lovely kiddo who is headed to preschool. I have done a mix of gardening, motherhood and a nanny for 20+ years.
I enjoy doing art, music, and connecting with nature. I have had personal and professional caregiving experience with children of all ages. I am also comfortable working with special needs kids and have references to show experience with this. I am confident going on adventures around town such as story times, Omsi, zoo, plays etc.
I will provide a safe, structured, kind space for them. I am CPR/First Aid certified and fully vaccinated. I have 2 daughters age 13 and 20 and hope to find a good fit so I can still help pick up from school. My happy place is when I'm with children, and I am hoping to meet my next best buddies.

How to Hire a Weekend Nanny in Portland, OR
Nanny Lane helps you find a weekend nanny in Portland, OR who fits your family's schedule. Browse profiles of nannies who are available on Saturdays or Sundays, then message the ones you like.
We offer nanny services including background checks, Agency, and nanny payroll. Start by posting a profile with a job description, and soon you can start connecting with nannies who fit your family.
What Is a Weekend Nanny?
A weekend nanny cares for your children on Saturdays, Sundays, or both. Some weekend nannies work every weekend, and others are available for the occasional weekend when you have an event, a trip, or a work commitment. Many have another job during the week, so they are often flexible about shorter shifts and one-off dates.
Common Responsibilities of Weekend Nannies in Portland, OR
Weekend care looks a lot like any other nanny job: supervising play, preparing meals and snacks, getting children to activities, and keeping to nap and bedtime routines. Because weekends are often busier and more active, you may also ask for help with outings, birthday parties, sports games, or family errands.
What to Consider Before You Hire
Be clear about the days and hours you need, whether the schedule is regular or occasional, and how much notice you can give. Rates and pay rules, including how weekend hours are paid, vary by state or province, so agree the details in writing and consider using nanny payroll to keep it simple. If you only need a few weekends a year, say so up front so nannies can plan around it.
Weekend Nanny Interview Questions
Once you find a promising candidate, invite them for an interview to see if they would be a great fit for your family. Here are some questions you can ask:
- Which weekends are you available, and how much notice do you need?
- Do you work every weekend or only occasionally?
- Are you comfortable with outings and activities, and with driving the children if needed?
- Are you trained in First Aid or CPR?
- What rate do you charge for weekend shifts?
At this stage, request their references and ask their references some questions. After preparing the job offer or contract, we recommend that you run a background check before the start date.
