More About Me
Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...
My experience includes taking care of babies, toddlers, and preschool-aged children. I also have experience working with groups in a daycare setting as an assistant, as well as live-in childcare experience as a former au pair. I can provide references and my resume.
Activities I enjoy doing with children...
I plan activities that support each baby’s developmental milestones, including stacking, grouping/sorting, fine motor skills, gross motor skills, coloring, singing, and sensory play. I also enjoy outdoor activities such as walks to the playground, running, jumping, and active play — I’m always happy to engage and support children through fun, age-appropriate activities.
The most important part about being a nanny...
The most important part about being a nanny to me is creating a safe, loving, and fun environment where children feel comfortable being themselves. I love building real connections with the kids I care for and becoming someone they can trust, learn from, and enjoy spending time with every day. I enjoy helping children grow through activities that support their milestones, creativity, and confidence, whether that’s reading books, sensory play, singing songs, outdoor walks, playground time, coloring, or simply being silly together. I think every child deserves patience, kindness, and positive energy. For me, being a nanny is not just about supervision, it’s about being present, supportive, and creating happy memories while helping children feel safe, loved, and encouraged as they grow.
The most important part about being a nanny...
One memorable nanny moment was when I cared for a toddler who was very shy at first. With patience and a calm, positive energy, I spent time building trust through reading books, singing songs, sensory play, coloring, and simple learning activities. After about two weeks, the child became much more comfortable and started opening up, laughing more, and asking me to join their games. One day, after we finished a fun activity together, they gave me a big hug and said, “I’m happy when you’re here.” That moment meant so much to me because it reminded me that when you give genuine care, attention, and love to a child, you can become someone they truly trust and feel safe with. That hug was the sweetest moment, and from then on we became best friends.
