"Jacey has watched my two boys multiple times over the last several months and we love her! She makes crafts with them and takes them to play basketball in the neighborhood. She gets them to bed on time and the house is always straightened up. She’s quick to communicate and has worked with us on short notice."

More About Me
Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...
While in the military, I volunteered to go read books to children at their school.
Activities I enjoy doing with children...
I enjoy planning creative activities like arts and crafts, coloring, building projects, and simple science experiments that help kids learn while having fun. I also like spending time outdoors with children, whether that’s going on walks, playing at the park, or organizing games that keep them active. Reading stories together, helping with homework, and encouraging imaginative play are some of my favorite ways to connect with kids. I always try to be patient, supportive, and attentive so children feel comfortable, confident, and excited about the time we spend together.
The most important part about being a nanny...
The most important part of being a nanny is making sure the children are always cared for, safe, and happy. I believe it’s important to stay attentive and engaged with them rather than ignoring them, so they always feel supported and supervised. I also make sure their basic needs are met, like making sure they aren’t hungry and that they feel comfortable throughout the day. Following their schedules and routines is also very important to me because it helps children feel secure and keeps their day running smoothly. 😊
My experience with special needs children...
I have experience caring for children with special needs, including children with ADHD and autism, and I always strive to create a calm, supportive, and understanding environment. I am patient and attentive to each child’s individual needs, routines, and communication styles. I enjoy helping children feel comfortable and confident by providing structure, encouragement, and engaging activities that match their interests and abilities. Whether it’s supporting focus during tasks, helping with emotional regulation, or simply making sure they feel safe and included, I approach every child with kindness, patience, and respect. My goal is always to make sure the children I care for feel understood, supported, and happy. 😊
The most important part about being a nanny...
One of my favorite parts of working with children is seeing the joy on their faces when something finally “clicks” for them. Whether it’s learning their letters, recognizing numbers, or identifying shapes, it’s so rewarding to watch them understand something new for the first time. I love being part of those moments and encouraging their curiosity and confidence as they learn and grow. Seeing how proud and excited they get makes the experience just as special for me. 😊

Hi! I’ve been working with kids for over six years, and truly love everything that comes with it. I have experience through babysitting, nannying, church childcare, junior cheer coaching, teaching swim lessons, and 4 summers as a camp counselor. Through this, I’m comfortable with children of all ages and managing both one on one care and multiple children at once. I am CPR certified and have First Aid training, and I have several years of experience working with children with various special needs and disabilities. I’m currently in college pursuing an undergraduate degree in Speech and Language Hearing Sciences and Psychology, so I can continue working with children and supporting them in the future!

Babysitter Available in Indianapolis, IN: Ruby H.
I am a fresh graduate from Ball State University, where I majored in Theatre Education and Women and Gender Studies. During my time there, I focused on empowering students through creativity and literacy. In doing so, I was able to participate in the creation of a theatre-based curriculum that has been proven to accelerate creativity, leadership, and literacy in grades K-6th. I am licensed to teach middle and high school, but have a soft spot for working with struggling young readers. Throughout my time in Muncie, I primarily worked with high-risk students in need of this individualized instruction. I hope to continue to do so well into the future. I appreciate your time!
