More About Me

Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...

I have experience as a physical therapy aide, where I worked with toddlers and adolescents. I guided these children through their plan of care. This included showing exercises, modifications, and adapting to their limits. I provided supervision, guidance, and overall companionship. Additionally, I volunteer as a Spanish translator at a medical clinic where I aid kids in the pediatric unit. I provide a comfortable and safe environment where both kids and parents feel that I will help them get the best medical care.

Activities I enjoy doing with children...

I enjoy play time indoors and outdoors, along with educational stimulation for children. Kids have a great imagination and require one to be creative, patient, and meet their level of fun! I enjoy the physical activities of tag, hide- and- seek, and other activities. Additionally, the development of kids is important, and with it are learning activities. I have always been passionate about education and enjoy helping with homework and tutoring kids. I remain patient and attentive during their learning time.

The most important part about being a nanny...

The most important part is being present for the kids. Being there for whatever the child needs physically and emotionally. Whether that is guaranteeing their safety, a playmate, a tutor, a companion, and so forth. It is about being patient, attentive, kind, and understanding. Being a Nanny is more than just supervision; it is about being a reliable person for both the children to be themselves around and for a parent to be at ease. It is a great responsibility, but one that is welcomed when you're caring for the well-being of a child.

The most important part about being a nanny...

My favorite nanny moment was the incredibly sweet time when my niece learned how to read. She had been struggling with reading and writing, and I had been reading with her to improve her ability. After a couple of sessions, she began to improve! It seemed to click, and she began to excel in her school work. She even received student of the month! Despite it being her hard work that paid off, she thanked me for helping her. That moment was the sweetest and most rewarding of my time babysitting her.
