Our son is very verbal and active but not yet potty trained. He still naps half the time and we are looking for someone to come late mornings and stay until 5:30. Some light cooking/cleaning/dog walking during naps would be a part of the job, too.
Fluency in a second language besides English is a major plus!

We are expecting a baby in December and are looking for a responsible college student who wants affordable housing in exchange for part-time infant care. We are a fun family, and we want someone who loves kids and would enjoy being in our home.
The arrangement
Private bedroom on the third floor with a private bathroom
Room and board as a partial exchange for care 2–3 times per week
Start around the baby’s arrival in December (flexible if you need to move in a bit earlier)
Easy campus commute: about a 5-minute walk to SCSU and a 5-minute drive to Yale
The family
We have three older children, ages 8–13, and a newborn on the way. We want someone who is comfortable with a newborn and can work calmly around older kids at home.
What we need
Infant care during the agreed 2–3 shifts per week (feeding, soothing, naps, basic routines)
Reliability and good communication
Light tidying related to the baby/kids when possible (nice to have, not required)
Helpful, not required
Experience with newborns or infants
Willingness to keep kosher in the home (this makes shared meals and kitchen use much easier)
If you are a student looking for a quieter place to live than a dorm and you enjoy being around kids, we’d like to hear from you. Please tell us your school, class schedule, infant experience, and when you could start.
We are lots of fun and we are looking for someone who loves kids and would enjoy being in our home.
