Hi! We are looking for a nanny to start asap to care for our 3 year old boy and 1 year old girl. Expectations are relatively straightforward. Keep them safe and engaged. Being outside is a priority along with being prepared for Chicago weather. Both children will be signed up for park district classes, so escorting them to/from is required (classes are walking distance). Light housework will be expected (picking up play areas, washing kids dishes, etc).
Also important: reading books, art projects, singing/dancing, numbers, ABCs...

• Shared Activities: Long walks in nature, engaging in lively conversations, sharing jokes, playing games, coloring, exploring art.
• Emotional Connection: Providing comforting companionship, holding her hand, building safe, trusted, joyful bond.
• Routine/Stability: Maintain a structured, comforting environment. Change is challenging for her, so use skills to gently redirect, calm her if highly agitated.
• Family Collaboration: Keeping clear, often communication w/family.
Note: This position does NOT require any bathing, cooking, cleaning, dressing, or driving. These tasks are fully handled by others!
