A little bit about us
Our parenting style is relaxed and child-centered. We believe toddlers learn through play, conversation, exploration and real-life experiences, and we give her plenty of freedom within reasonable safety boundaries. We are looking for someone who genuinely enjoys getting down on the floor and playing, reading, talking, laughing and exploring alongside a toddler.
We do not use screen time, and we expect our nanny to be fully present and engaged rather than on her phone during the day. We love reading, outdoor play, sensory activities, art, music, puzzles, pretend play and hands-on activities. We are happy for our nanny to plan activities based on our daughters interests, but we do not expect an elaborate or packed schedule every day. Occasional outings are great, but they are not required every day and should fit naturally around our daughters routine and nap.
Our ideal nanny is warm, playful, patient, dependable and communicative. We want someone who can build a genuine relationship with our daughter and become a trusted part of our family.
We are looking for 8:00–4:00, Monday–Friday (40 hours/week) and are happy to discuss the schedule with the right person. Childcare is the primary responsibility, with normal child-related tasks such as preparing meals/snacks, cleaning up and child laundry.
If you’re looking for a family where you can truly get to know a child, have fun with them, and become part of their everyday life, we’d love to hear from you!
