A little bit about us
We have three children: a nearly 6-year-old daughter who attends elementary school, an energetic and playful 3-year-old son, and an 8-month-old daughter. Care will primarily be for our two youngest children. Our son attends preschool from 9-11:30 MWF.
We’re looking for approximately 38 hours per week. Ideal schedule would be 8 am - 3:30 pm. Hours are somewhat flexible. We offer guaranteed hours and hope to find someone interested in a long-term position.
We’d love someone who genuinely enjoys engaging with young children through creative play, reading, outdoor activities, and age-appropriate learning experiences. We encourage outings to the library, playgrounds, parks, and other local activities, so a valid driver’s license and clean driving record are important.
Responsibilities include preparing children’s meals and snacks, managing naps and daily routines, and light cleanup related to the children. We also have a friendly Goldendoodle, but no pet care is expected.
I’ll be working from home, but we’re looking for someone comfortable independently managing the children’s day.
Prior childcare experience, excellent references, and a clean background check are required. Early childhood education or training is a plus, but a degree is not necessary. Above all, we’re hoping to find someone nurturing, reliable, and engaging who will become a trusted part of our children’s lives!
