A little bit about us

Hello! We are looking to find someone(s) to help us as needed with our topsy-turvy, busy life. We have a 6-year-old boy and 5-year-old twin girls. They’re fun and spunky! Thank you for your interest!

We’re in need of “structure” and someone(s) to help us work towards that. Currently, seeking help to tutor and care for our 1st grader.
A different aspect considering help would be in an “home management” capacity. This I imagine includes more help and streamlining our home (potentially errands, meal prep, little laundry, organization or tidying). I imagine this role involves a self-starter who can look ahead to things before maybe even I see it.
And thirdly/always, an extra set of hands is much appreciated! From helping our little people with play, getting ready, ceasing bickering, pickup/drop off, or placing a plate in the dishwasher, a little clean up, or listening to colorful stories (often involving star wars, mermaids, unicorns, or space) and renditions of musical numbers there is much to go around.

We are looking for a Nanny that is interested in investing their time in teaching, caring for and playing with our 1 year old daughter while she is growing at this most crucial point of interaction at her beginning stages of life. We run a business and my wife just went into remission from cancer, so she works from home on the days we would need help the most. The nanny we had just graduated from nursing school and will be going full time pretty quickly, thank you in advance for your interest and time! (Most shifts are Monday-Friday).

A little bit about us

I work full time and my husband is a full-time student and so our needs vary on his schedule as I work remotely from home 3 days a week and commute the other two - which will transition to 3 days on site in November. Right now, we are needing someone from 830 - 6 on Wednesdays (could be some flexibility here if absolutely needed) and beginning in November we will need someone on either Thursday or Friday morning (day is flexible, but time would be from about 830 - 2).

Basic duties would essentially be to care for our 3 year old in our home and then Pick up our 3 older kids (Ages 6, 7, 10) from the bus stop (will require driving as the bus stop is down the road and across a busy intersection of blue angel). Light housekeeping at your discretion (not necessarily an expectation but would be a plus) and ensuring kids are safe, fed and well cared for until either me or my husband return home(helping with homework also a huge plus).

We do have a dog, cat and a ferret. Dog has free rein of the home, cat does as well but is old and mostly sleeps, ferret will be caged and locked in the office. You won't have to care for the animals other than letting the dog outside as needed to potty. My daughter who you will primarily be caring for is newly potty trained (we are still working on it) and she has a slight speech delay, so communication with her can be difficult, but she is getting better everyday. She is not on a sleep schedule at all, and typically wakes up between 10-11 am and only naps on occasion, so in the morning you would some have free time.

We would also be okay if you need to bring your own child with you, as long as the same level of care is provided (would need to sign a waiver that we are not to be held responsible if something were to happen to your child while in our home). Please let us know if you would be a good fit.
