About Our Family
We are a busy professional family in Dallas with two 12-year-old twin girls and a sweet family dog. We are seeking a self-motivated, warm, and highly organized "second mom" who naturally takes initiative, anticipates our household's needs, and keeps our daily routines running seamlessly.
Our home is professionally cleaned weekly, so this role focuses on household management, family laundry, meal coordination, scheduling, organization, and child-related support rather than deep cleaning.
Key Responsibilities
Proactive Management & Scheduling: Create the weekly family schedule, coordinate appointments, manage family calendars, pay bills, and stay ahead of household logistics.
Meal Planning & Prep: Plan weekly menus, handle grocery shopping, pack daily school lunches, and prepare healthy family dinners.
Childcare & Driving: Provide safe transportation for the girls to/from school and afternoon activities, assist with after-school routines, and monitor homework completion.
Home Organization & Laundry: Take the lead on organizing closets, pantry, fridge, and common areas. Oversee daily tidy-ups, kitchen reset, full family laundry (wash, fold, put away), and inventory/supplies.
Errands & Vendor Logistics: Run local errands (returns, dry cleaning) and coordinate with house cleaners or vendors as needed.
Pet Care: Give love and attention to our small dog.
Qualifications
Self-starter who takes initiative, leads household operations, and anticipates needs without being asked.
Previous experience as a House Manager, Nanny, or Family Assistant.
Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
