"This letter serves as a reference for Sam, who was an amazing nanny for our family. She didn’t just watch our children—she truly cared for them and created a fun, safe, and structured environment every day.
Sam handled a wide range of responsibilities, including preparing healthy meals and snacks, assisting with homework and learning activities, managing bedtime routines, supervising bath time, and doing school pickups and drop-offs. She planned crafts, outdoor play, reading sessions, and educational outings that kept our children active and curious.
She also helped with light housework related to the kids, such as cleaning up play areas, washing dishes after meals, tidying bedrooms, and helping pack lunches. Sam communicated clearly with us about schedules, behavior, and daily updates, which we really appreciated as parents.
Our children absolutely adored Sam and trusted her. She was patient, dependable, kind, and always showed initiative."

"Sam has been part of our family for the past almost year, caring for our 2-year-old child. During her time with us, she went above and beyond in every aspect of , dedication, and professionalism.
From the very first day, Sam displayed a gift for connecting with our child. She engaged our child in creative play, helping to nurture both cognitive and emotional development.
In addition to her childcare duties, Sam was responsible for a wide range of household tasks, and she excelled in each one. She prepared meals for our child, always taking the time to make sure they were balanced and catered to their tastes. Tidying up after playtime to ensuring that the kitchen and living areas were spotless.
Her compassion and reliability extended beyond the normal duties of a nanny. She was always ready to offer support when we needed it and had a positive attitude and warm presence were a constant source of comfort, and she quickly became someone we could rely on in every sense."

"Samantha was fabulous with our kids! We had a newborn and 3 year old when she began her position. We were a little hesitant about nannylane to start, I work full-time as a CEO and my Husband is a surgeon at CHOMP in Monterey.
Samantha made the process much easier for us. She treated our children as if they were her own. We offered a live in position and she kept her area quite tidy. We expressed that it was vital for our children to have a comfortable life with her in our home.
Samantha was very helpful with cleaning, cooking, grocery shopping, taking care of our pets and providing our children with the best life. Unfortunately we are moving to NY and offered her a place in our future home, but understand that's a far relocation. We hope that she finds another family who can find as much and gratitude as our family has. She has become a part of our family and anyone would be lucky to have her in their lives and their children's lives. We will miss her dearly."

The most important part about being a nanny...
The most important part of nannying is building a strong, trusting relationship with both the child and their family. Creating a safe, nurturing environment where children feel valued and supported allows them to thrive emotionally, socially, and developmentally. Being reliable, patient, and adaptable is key, as every child’s needs are unique. Ultimately, it’s about being a positive role model and partner in the child’s growth while providing peace of mind to parents knowing their child is in caring and capable hands.
My experience with special needs children...
I have extensive experience working as a nanny for children with a variety of special needs, including autism, ADHD, and developmental delays. I tailor my approach to meet each child's unique needs, creating structured routines, using visual aids, and employing calming techniques to support their emotional and developmental growth. I focus on fostering communication, social skills, and independence, while also adapting activities to their abilities. Through collaboration with parents and professionals, I provide consistent, compassionate care that helps each child feel supported and encouraged to reach their full potential.
The most important part about being a nanny...
One of my favorite moments while nannying was when a shy toddler I cared for, who had been hesitant to speak, suddenly called me by name for the first time. It was such a sweet, unexpected milestone that made me feel deeply connected to them. The joy and pride in their eyes, combined with the excitement from their parents when I shared the moment, made it unforgettable. It’s moments like these that remind me why I love nannying and how rewarding it is to be part of a child's growth and development.
