A little bit about me…

. My name is Lisa and I have an AA in Child Development and am CPR and First Aid certified and have a fingerprint clearance card. I also hold BS in Speech Language Pathology. I have been in the child care field for over 25 years. I have been a head teacher of an infant/toddler class, a preschool teacher, an assistant director of a preschool, and a nanny. I enjoy taking kids on outings such as story time at the library, playtime at the park, craft time at the craft store, to the zoo, and museum. I feel it is important that kids get interaction with other children as well as academics.

"We have had the pleasure of having Lisa work with both our kids. Our youngest kid was about a year behind in speech when Lisa first started working with her. In just a few months, my daugter has come so far and is nearly speaking at an age appropriate level. With our oldest daughter, Lisa has given her so much confidence in reading that in just 2 weeks has made huge leaps in school. I love seeing the confidence in both of my kids and I am so grateful for Lisa. My kids adore her and are always happy when she comes over. Highly recommend."

A little bit about me…

Hi! I'm a 25 year old nanny who has a wide array of child care experience. I have 10 years of experience with the whole age spectrum of kiddos, from newborns to teens/ young adults. I have worked as an AVID Tutor in the Vallivue School District and have experience with AWD ( Adults With Disabilities) and SWD ( Students With Disabilities).I am also proficient in ASL. I am open to tutoring as well as nanny positions and open to light housework as well.
In my free time I play the violin, ukulele and love to craft with paints and sew!I also have a wonderful garden I am very proud of! I love to be outdoors and kayak.
I am a 2x cancer survivor( happy to answer questions about this) and am just starting to incorporate life outside of the hospital back into my routine so some flexibility is needed. I go out of town to SLC for care every 1-3 months but I will coordinate with work as much as I can.
I am willing to nanny share and have multiple children under my care.
I cannot use payroll.

"She encourages our kids (2 & 7) to learn as much as they want, she is so knowledgeable, and our kids absolutely love spending time with her. She's very attentive and empathetic, doesn't just sit them in front of a screen all day. Overall, I recommend her every chance I get for any friends looking for a sitter or nanny."
