I work from home remotely as a clinical therapist which requires very focused time in meetings and my husband works about 20 mins away at his office.
Generally the hours needed are 12-6 (our youngest has school typically in the mornings, but can absolutely offer more if you are looking for more hours/ we are flexible).
Because of our busy schedules we need help with driving after school (sports etc), misc house work (some meal prep, laundry, etc), and of course and most importantly nurturing the kids and being an honest person who we can trust will have their best interest in mind!
We love our kids more than anything and are looking for someone energetic, positive, caring (just like our kids!) and trustworthy to welcome into our family!
We live in Avon but very close to west Hartford so a great location and easy to get around to places!
*we are also looking for some additional help for the last part of the summer, which can also be very flexible with hours but can discuss this more with anyone interested as well.

We are looking for an energetic and compassionate nanny to work with our two young daughters, ages 3 and 6. The 6 year old is in school full-time, so you will primarily be responsible for our youngest who attends pre-k two mornings per week. You will have both children during holidays and breaks or when there is no school or camp. We are looking for 24 hours per week as a base and additionally are seeking someone who is willing to do date nights, overnights and travel with the family as needed. Light houskeeekping duties include laundry, dishes and tidying the home. Flexibility is a must as we can have a unique schedule, but hours will always be guaranteed.
This individual will need to assist with supporting the girls and their daily schedules- after school activities, coordinating play dates, outings and educational experiences.
Must also be comfortable with pets- we have a loving and energetic dog!

-Schedule: 1-2 days during week (days may vary but Wednesday will be a day most needed)
-Extras: may pick-up weekend hours, if interested
-Planning: Schedule will be provided one month in advance -Transition: Ideally, a few visits before scheduled care begins so our daughter can get comfortable and ease any stranger anxiety. Ideal person should be kind, dependable, experienced and enjoy education based learning with toddlers.
