A little bit about us

Warm, active family seeking an experienced, flexible nanny/family assistant starting early September (ideally Sept 8). Looking for someone who can commit through the school year and ideally longer.
Family: 3-month-old baby and a 4.5-year-old (school M–F mornings). Primary focus is the baby, plus help with school drop-off/pick-up, holidays, and occasional evenings. Mom is home and involved — you'd be hands-on with the baby's daily care, with mom deciding on activities/classes and nearby to collaborate. Supportive partnership, not solo coverage.
Responsibilities (even split of childcare & household):
* Infant care and age-appropriate activities
* Help with our 4.5-year-old outside school hours, incl. occasional pickup
* Family laundry (wash, fold, put away)
* Tidying toys/common areas; light cleaning (vacuum, mop, countertops)
* Dishwasher loading/unloading
* Simple food prep for kids and occasionally the family
* Occasional errands and evening/date-night babysitting
Schedule: ~30–35 hrs/week, consistent once set (some flexibility possible, e.g. a student's class schedule). Wednesdays 8 AM–12 PM required; other mornings most helpful; occasional evenings a plus. Paid for scheduled hours even if plans change.
Compensation & benefits:
* $25–30/hr based on experience (higher end for early childhood ed background + strong infant experience)
* 1–2 weeks PTO + major holidays; paid sick leave per NY law
* Modest rate increase during Hamptons weeks (live-in)
Location: Starts Midtown East (E 50s), likely moving to UES within ~6 months. Summers largely in the Hamptons — ideally 5 days/week live-in (preferred, not required). Driving a plus for camp pickup/errands; car provided.
Requirements:
* Experience with young babies required; references required
* Strong English; French or Bengali a plus
* Non-smoker; reliable, warm, proactive, comfortable taking initiative
To apply: send a brief intro, relevant experience, availability, and references. Looking forward to meeting you!

A little bit about us

We are looking for a nanny for our sweet 2 year old daughter. The preferred hours are Mondays and Fridays 8-6, Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays 10:30-6. We are looking for a high energy nanny who is proactive and great with young kids. Responsibilities include: picking our daughter up from school three days a week, grocery shopping for her food while she's in school, cooking healthy meals for her, taking her to activities/classes, setting up playdates with other nannies/kids, doing her laundry, light housekeeping, reading to her, playing with her, etc. We want to have another child, so want to hire someone who is experienced and comfortable with handling a toddler and a baby (and hours would go up to 50/week once there's a new child). Also, this would be on the books payment. Must be comfortable with dogs, as we have a four year old dog.
