Daughter is very social, loves music and dancing, and wants to do everything we are doing.
We do have a dog in our home & are willing to host.
Must have compatible parenting/child-raising approaches (empathetic with firm boundary setting).
Would love a daily routine — stories at 9:30, outdoor play at 10, lunch at 11:30, nap at 12, etc. (not this exact schedule, but something along these lines).
Interested in a focus on teaching social skills — caring for others, being kind, taking turns.
Would love to see a weekly schedule take shape — cooking project Tuesdays? Hiking Wednesdays?
Bonus: a family who is willing to host in both homes.

A little bit about us
We're drawn to a Waldorf-inspired approach to childhood, with an emphasis on imaginative play, time outdoors, simple toys and natural materials, creativity, books, music, and letting children explore at their own pace. We value connection and presence over screens and structured entertainment, and we love creating little rhythms and rituals throughout the day.
We're looking for a nanny who genuinely enjoys engaging with children through play, storytelling, art, nature, music and everyday activities rather than relying on screens or constant stimulation. Someone who is warm, patient, intuitive, and comfortable being an active and nurturing presence in our child's day would be a wonderful fit.
As a family, we prioritize healthy living, natural and low-tox products, wholesome food, time outside, and creating a peaceful home environment. We're not looking for perfection - just someone who shares our general philosophy and wants to be a loving, dependable part of our family's village.
We hope to find someone who sees nannying as more than childcare: someone who enjoys helping a child feel safe, curious, capable, and deeply loved while they grow and explore the world.
We also have two dogs and a cat who are all very friendly and are part of the family, so we're looking for someone who is comfortable and happy around animals.
Hours would be Monday - Friday from 9am to 4pm.
