We need someone who can reliably help during the afternoons, and flex to early mornings/evenings on certain weeks.

Travel weeks (~1 week/month; dates shared early): Morning — arrive ~5am so Mom can leave, morning routine, let the dog out, daycare dropoff (7:30–8:30am). Afternoon/evening — daycare pickup until ~7pm.

A little bit about us

We are looking for a nanny to care for our 9-month old in our home for half-days (4 hours) five days a week. Ideally, we need someone with some flexibility regarding when during the day these blocks are scheduled due to my work schedule i.e. some mornings and some afternoons (though the weekly schedule should remain consistent once we figure it out).

We need someone who is comfortable with an exuberant corgi and two parrots in the home. We also need someone who does not use highly fragranced personal care or laundry products as several members of our family are chemically sensitive.

We are open to a nanny share but would like the care to take place in our home at least at first to facilitate the fact that my son is still breastfeeding.

Our son loves one-on-one attention and talking, playing, reading with someone who is excited to engage with him. Nap times without mom can some times be a bit of a struggle, so we’re hoping to find someone patient to helping him adapt to this big change!
