A little bit about us
We live on a small farmstead with plenty of room to explore. Our son is curious, active, and loves being outside, so we’re looking for someone who genuinely enjoys outdoor play and can keep up with an adventurous toddler.
Both parents will generally be home during the shift. Dad is his full-time caregiver during the week and plans to use this time to focus on outdoor projects and household chores. Mom works remotely in a demanding, upper-level role with a tech startup and will need to remain heads-down and focused on work. Although we’ll be nearby, you will have primary responsibility for our son while you are here.
Responsibilities include play and activities, outdoor time, snacks, diaper changes, his afternoon nap if needed, and tidying up after his meals and activities.
Our two older children, ages 8 and 11, will also be home after school. They are self-sufficient and will not require childcare, although we need someone who is comfortable with older children being in the home.
We’re hoping to find someone dependable, proactive, and nurturing who can become a consistent and trusted presence for our son.
