A little bit about us
Our ideal schedule is Monday–Friday during school/daytime hours, generally between 9 AM–3:30 PM, but hours will vary. Some days may only be 1–3 hours, while others may be closer to a full day. Thursdays are typically my busiest workday and the day I’m most likely to need consistent, longer coverage. Because we aren’t requiring the same set hours every week, we’re happy to offer flexibility in return.
Infant care is a major part of the position. On days my husband is away and I’m working, you may spend most of your time caring for our son—feeding, changing, playing, naps, etc. Other days, childcare may be minimal and we’ll need more help around the house.
Household responsibilities may include laundry, dishes, tidying play/common areas, organizing, keeping track of household/baby supplies, unpacking deliveries, errands/returns, grocery runs and other projects that help keep our home organized and functional. We have a weekly cleaner, so no deep cleaning.
Initiative is very important to us. Once you learn our household, we’d love someone who notices what needs to be done and jumps in without needing a daily task list.
We’re looking for someone warm, trustworthy, flexible and comfortable with variety who would like to become a long-term part of our family’s support system. We may also be open to the right person bringing their own child.
If this sounds like a position you'd enjoy and be great at, we'd love to hear from you! Thank you!
