A little bit about me
My name is Melina and I’m currently 25 years
old. I grew up in a military family so I’ve lived all over the place. Prior to moving to Washington, I was living in Baltimore and studying Information Science. My newest goal is to soon start on my Masters.
I am currently looking for a family that needs occasional evening and weekend care since I will be working during the day (pending my new schedule).
If requested, I can provide multiple family references from my prior full-time care.
If you are interested in the help, please don't hesitate to contact me! It takes a village! 🤍

A little bit about me
Back home (in Brazil) I managed family business and studied psychology. I have experience with all ages. The last family I worked for had 3 kids, a 3mo baby girl and two boys, 2 and 4 yo. I've also taken care of babies twins and of kids age 8 and 9.
When taking care of kids I like playing with them, reading books and sometimes I try to teach some Portuguese.
I'm a really patient and easy going person.
My favorite thing to do is hiking and learning about plants. Every hike I bring along my plants book and I always find something interesting and new. I've learned some plants are eatable, some are medicinal and some are poisonous. Now I know which plants to stay away and which to have it around. Last week I went on an amazing 3 day hike, 37 miles round trip to a blue glacier right in the middle of the Olympic national forest. That was amazing!
