What We're Looking For:
- Prior special-needs caregiving experience
- Reliable, trustworthy, patient, and nurturing personality
- Immediate availability with flexible scheduling - open to weekends
- Own reliable transportation and references
- Comfortable around dogs (we have a friendly mini Goldendoodle)
- Willingness to go on payroll and enroll as an IHSS provider (a simple one-time process we'll guide you through)
The Role:
Our daughter is easy-going and a joy to care for — loving, happy, and playful. She loves to explore but has low safety awareness, so the role is primarily continuous, attentive supervision. She walks independently for short stretches and is active, so you'll be on the move with her.
Your main responsibilities will include:
- Continuous, attentive supervision to keep her safe and engaged
- Accompanying her on walks to the nearby park or downtown
- Supervising safe play in her dedicated playrooms
- Providing companionship and warmth throughout the day
- G-tube feeding (we'll fully train and support you — no prior experience required)
- Assisting with diapering and bathing as needed
