A little bit about us
Schedule:
Monday, Tuesday & Wednesday
5:00 AM–7:15 AM
Approximately 6.75 guaranteed hours per week
The morning is fairly simple and structured. The children will remain asleep until approximately 6:15 AM, so there is downtime during the first part of the morning.
Responsibilities include:
Arrive at the home by 5:00 AM
Wake the children around 6:15 AM
Make sure they get dressed and are ready for school
Provide a little extra grooming assistance to my 5-year-old, including making sure teeth are brushed and they are ready for the day
Safely transport the children to school, which is less than 2.5 miles from our home
There is no breakfast preparation required, as the children eat breakfast at school. Their outfits will also already be selected and ironed, so there is no laundry or clothing preparation required.
There may occasionally be an opportunity for an additional Thursday evening shift from approximately 5:00 PM–8:00 PM. This would be occasional and discussed in advance.
Because this position includes school transportation, I’m looking for someone who is responsible, reliable, has a valid driver’s license, and is comfortable with an early-morning schedule.
This would be a great fit for someone looking for a small, consistent part-time position before starting their regular workday or classes.
Possibly if daycare is closed on a day I have to work. However, advance notice would be given with rate increase.
In the beginning I would like to introduce the children to you and have you come by a couple times during the weekend so they familiarize themselves with you. Over the course of 2 or 3 weeks. Each vistit (introductory period) I will be home, but ease my way out of view by doing laundry or some chore type.
