A warm and busy family in Paramus, NJ is seeking an experienced, reliable, and nurturing Nanny to care for our two boys, ages 2.5 and 6, while helping keep our household running smoothly.
Schedule:
Live-out position
Monday–Thursday
Typical schedule is approximately 6:30 AM–7:00 PM during the school year
Summer schedule may shift to approximately 7:00 AM–7:30 PM
Guaranteed 50 hours per week
Flexibility to adjust start and end times on occasion is appreciated, but advance notice will be provided whenever possible
Compensation:
Competitive pay, based on experience
Paid on the books
Children:
6-year-old attends full-time school
2.5-year-old attends half-day preschool
Responsibilities:
Providing attentive, loving, and engaging care for both children
School and preschool drop-off/pick-up
Planning age-appropriate activities, outings, and play
Preparing healthy meals and snacks for the children
Household laundry (children + parents)
Homework assistance for the 6 year old
Groceries and light errands for the family
Light housekeeping
Light cooking for the children only
Helping maintain organization and daily household routines
Ideal Candidate:
Prior nanny and/or household management experience
Dependable, proactive, and organized
Warm, energetic, and genuinely enjoys working with young children
Comfortable balancing childcare and household responsibilities
Valid driver's license and clean driving record
Strong references required
We are looking for someone who will become a valued part of our family's daily life and provide a safe, caring, and structured environment for our children. This is a full-time, long term role (so no summer only applicants please)
