A little bit about us

Hi! We’re the McMurry family and we’re looking for a kind, reliable babysitter to help with occasional after-school care for our two kids: a sweet 1 yo baby boy and our fun-loving, goofy 5-year-old daughter.

This is an occasional role that is later in the evening to come to our home at 6pm and stay until 10pm. You will help with dinner, bath and bed time.

We’re hoping to find someone caring, responsible, and playful who enjoys being around kids. Our kids have a routine and understand the rules. Students are very welcome to apply!

If this sounds like a good fit, we’d love to hear from you.

Babysitter for Our Bright & Beautiful 2-Year-Old Daughter (Harlem/Midtown)

We’re looking for a caring, reliable, and engaging babysitter for our sweet and very advanced 2-year-old daughter, Floriana, who is American and German. The role includes regular babysitting every two weeks for about 4 hours, plus occasional additional support, especially when we travel for work or have evening commitments.

Activities would include:

Picking her up from daycare (located just 5 minutes from our apartment)

Taking her to the park or for short walks (weather permitting)

Indoor playtime at home (toys, creative play, story time, etc.)

Light meal or snack preparation and feeding

Diaper changes and general supervision

We currently live in Harlem, but will be moving to Midtown Manhattan in about 2 months. We’d love someone who is flexible with locations and comfortable adjusting as needed.

This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys spending time with a curious, joyful little girl in a relaxed and loving environment. Prior experience with toddlers is a plus. We’re looking for someone we can trust and ideally build a long-term relationship with.

Please reach out with your availability, experience, and any questions!

A little bit about us

Our daughter Ella is turning 5 in July. She loves singing, cooking and making "art".
We are originally from Brazil and speak Portuguese and English at home. Our families live abroad and Ella is in pre-K, so we're searching for someone that can look after Ella on eventual weekend days and evenings, with flexibility but looking to build a long term relationship.

A little bit about us

We are a loving warm family with three fantastic energetic boys. We live on the upper east side and love to play in the park, have dance parties, play sports, arts and crafts, and a lot of puzzles! Dinosaurs, Transformers, Sharks and Firetrucks are big winners with this crowd.
We are looking for an occasional weekend babysitter who has had 5+ years of experience with small kids, especially with boys and babies. We have an almost 5yr old, a 2.5yr old, and a 6m old. Someone who can be flexible with hours, but reliable to be available for most Saturday and Sundays anywhere from 9am to 6pm (or late if we go out).

We need someone who is very kind, energetic, plays a lot, creative, with a very happy demeanor. Someone who will actively engage with and care for our kids, coming up with pretend play ideas, outdoor games, or crafts projects, taking them to the playground or museums, assisting with meal times, etc.

The schedule has yet to be decided, as it changes weekend to weekend, but we would love for it be a consistent relationship for our family and for this person to become someone our kids can adore and rely on.
