Schedule: 30+ hours per week, spread over 3–4 days. One evening per week required. Otherwise somewhat flexible — we can work with you to find a schedule that fits.
Compensation & Benefits
W-2 position
Pay: Hourly, commensurate with experience (up to $24/hour for the right fit)
4–6 weeks paid vacation per year, aligned with our family's existing vacation schedule
Nanny vehicle provided — a Tesla Model Y is available for errands, transporting the kids, and other work-related driving
About Our Family
We have two children:
A 12-year-old daughter with autism — happy, not aggressive, toilet trained, and limited verbally
A 9-year-old son
We also have 2 large dogs and a cat (who is fairly certain she is also a dog). A genuine fondness for animals is a must.
What You'd Be Doing
Childcare (when the kids aren't in school):
Engaging both children in activities appropriate to their developmental stages
Driving our daughter to therapy and other appointments
Supporting our son's educational activities and interests
Household Management:
Keeping the household running smoothly day-to-day
Errands such as grocery shopping
Coordinating the kids' schedules
Light laundry, dishes, and tidying
Limited food prep
Holiday decorating
Pet care
Personal Assistant Tasks:
Helping with household-related administrative work (scheduling, appointments, follow-ups, etc.)
What We're Looking For
Experience working with children with special needs OR a sincere willingness to learn
Strong organizational skills
Valid driver's license, good driving record, and a reliable personal vehicle to get to and from work
Ability to pass a background check
Someone who desires a long-term role.
