Position: Live-In Nanny & Household Assistant
Location: Miami Beach, FL (18th St., next to the Convention Center, in a beautiful neighborhood)
Compensation: Private room & utilities included + $20/hour for additional babysitting hours
Commitment: 50 hours of babysitting per month in exchange for reduced rent
About the Role:
We are looking for a live-in nanny and household assistant to join our family in a prime Miami Beach location. This is a unique opportunity to live in a private, fully furnished room with a private bath, just steps from the Miami Beach Convention Center, in a safe and beautiful neighborhood.
In exchange for 50 hours of babysitting per month, you will receive free accommodation, utilities, and access to household amenities. Additional babysitting hours will be paid at $20/hour.

Light Household Assistance
• Assist with light household tasks while the baby is sleeping (laundry, tidying, dishes, etc.).
• Perform routine chores such as vacuuming, mopping, organizing, and watering plants.
• Take out trash, replace liners, and properly store food.
• Help prepare simple meals (e.g., chopping vegetables, making sauces).
• Clean bottles and maintain cleanliness in baby-related areas.

Providing overall flexible support to the needs of the household including but no limited to:
Daily Cleaning:
Daily cleaning of rooms of house alternating as schedule permits including but not limited to:
Daily organization of Primary Bedroom, child’s room, kitchen.
Weekly organization
Household laundry
Cleaning of kitchen, living/ dining, common space, guest rooms, bathroom, bedrooms,TV room, daily cleaning of master bedroom, floors, assisting with the dogs, windows, dusting, and attending to cleaning needs as they occur.
Childcare:
Providing flexible care and support for 4yo as needed.
Morning breakfast assistance, getting backpack ready, cooking dinner, doing bath.
Being patient
Providing a quiet and safe environment for our 4 year old while we are out of the house.
Weekend help
Being home at night as we socialize often
This position requires someone who is:
Independent - able to be a self starter
Respectful- we work from home so someone who is quiet and aware of surroundings
Flexible and able to balance- there will days where it is crazy with guests and things to do, and days where it is slow as can be. We able to ride with the waves and hustle when needed and have an understanding of household things to do when not. Schedule may differ day to day.
Have an understanding of how to maintain a house- iron sheets, duvets, keeping a clean esthetic
Summers we have guests-

Patient- able to understand a 4 year old
About to travel - we live in NY in the summer and have guests constantly

Monday - Thursday: 3:30pm-8pm
Friday: 1:30pm-7:30pm
Saturday: flexible
Nanny help with:
- afternoon snack prep for kids
- caring for & entertaining both 1yr old & 5yr old when back from school until dinner time
- help preparing water bottles & evening bottles
- help clearing dinner table & putting dishes in dishwasher
- help putting lunchboxes & water bottles in dishwasher to wash
- Pick up would be great, if possible, but only once we are all comfortable.
-We are a bilingual family (Spanish/English).
- We live in Miami Beach
- Must be Covid & Influenza Vaccinated.
- Must have references.
