We are seeking a loving, responsible nanny to care for our 7-week-old infant in Coolidge Corner. We hope to build a lasting relationship with someone who can stay on at least 1-2 years.
Responsibilities include infant age-appropriate activities and outings, consistent sleep routine, paced bottle feeding, safe breast milk and formula handling, cleaning and sterilizing bottles and breast pump parts, preparation of infant meals to support infant's transition to solids, baby laundry and nursery organization. No pet care.
I work from home full time; my wife is home until December and will then work from home 2-3 days per week. We're looking for a collaborative nanny who is able to manage daily care independently while one or both parents work at designated home offices. We value clear communication, reliability and attentiveness. We expect the nanny to provide attentive care and age-appropriate interaction during wake windows, with personal phone use reserved for naps and breaks.
Applicants should have experience independently caring for an infant under one year old, with a former employer reference, and be comfortable with baby-monitoring cameras in disclosed locations in the nursery and living room. Applicants must be non-smoking/non-vaping, hold current infant CPR and first-aid certifications, and be up to date on vaccinations, including TDAP and the current season's COVID and flu vaccines.
